Yorkshire Ski Championships 2010
The 2010 Championships are on Saturday 19th June at Xscape Castleford.
The Championships are a fun event open to all skiers combining:
The entry fee remains £20 per skier allowing entry to all or any of the events.
Closing Date for entries Monday 14th June (priority will be give to Yorkshire skiers until 5th June).

U6 - Under 6 U8 - Under 8 U10 - Under 10 U12 - Under 12 U14 - Under 14 U16 - Under 16 U19 - Under 19 U35 - Under 35 O35 - Over 35
Provisional Timetable (subject to alteration)
07:45 - Bib Issue - Ben Nevis Suite 08:00 - Practice - At the side of the Slalom course 08:30 - Course Inspection - Do not ski the course 09:00 - Alpine SL 1st Run 10:15 - Alpine SL 2nd Run 11:30 - Moguls Practice 12:00 - Moguls 1st Run 13:30 - Moguls 2nd Run - Top 10 Only 14:00 - GS Course Inspection - one slow run in bib order 14:30 - Short GS 1st Run 15:15 - Short GS 2nd Run 17:30 - Finish 18:00 - Prize presentation - Sno Bar (1st Floor)
Maximum number of Competitors will be 150 including a maximum of 50 Mogul Competitors
Medals will be awarded as follows
Alpine - Based on the best time of the two Slalom runs plus the best time of the two GS runs, for both Male and Female for each of the age categories.
Combined - Based on the total times of all four slalom and GS runs, for both Male and Female for each of the age categories.
Moguls - Awarded to for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Top Gun
The Top Gun Male and Female Trophies are based on points from both Moguls and Alpine, being the best run of both Slalom and GS (these trophies are to be returned to the organisers by the recipients in 11 months). The points based on the following matrix and will only be awarded to those skiers competing in both alpine and freestyle events:
